4 cloves garlic
1/2 cup slivered almonds, pine nut, or any other type of nut
2 cups firmly packed fresh basil leaves
1 cup firmly packed baby spinach leaves (or kale)
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp cracked black pepper
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
Selection of whatever greens are in season - for this recipe I used Brussel sprouts, broccolini and kale. You could add broad beans, peas, asparagus... the list goes on.
I used salmon in my pasta but you could use tuna, prawns, chicken, or even tofu.
